Colorado-produced Film to Screen at American Film Market

Dragon and the Hawk, the action/adventure film shot in Denver, Aurora and parts of Douglas County in 1999 by the Colorado film company, Inferno Film Productions, LLC, will be screened on February 19 and 24th at the Santa Monica AMC Theatre in Santa Monica, California as part of the American Film Market's "Premiere Screenings."

Inferno Film Productions has an office at AFM (Room 825) and will be offering the foreign distribution rights to Dragon and the Hawk, as well as pre-selling distribution rights to the upcoming sequel, Dragon and the Hawk 2: Therion's Revenge and a drama called Voice of the Demon. Inferno is also acting as a sales agent for two other completed movies: Drawing Down the Moon produced by Chaos Productions, featuring Walter Koenig ("Chekov" in "Star Trek"), and Mahogany Knots by Colorado's Stage One Productions. Inferno will also be pre-selling rights to the action film, Shadows: The Path of Deception, to be produced by Inferno's sister company, Asgard Entertainment. Asgard Entertainment has obtained Letters of Interest from Hollywood actors Christopher Atkins and Tane McClure for Shadows.

The American Film Market (AFM) is the world's largest international film market. Approximately 300 sellers set up offices (at a cost of $15,000 to $50,000 per office) in the Santa Monica Loews Hotel to offer foreign and domestic rights to completed films and to pre-sell rights to future films. Several thousand buyers and other film industry professionals attend AFM and $8-9 BILLION dollars are expected to be exchanged at the market, or as a result of negotiations at it.

Inferno Film Productions, LLC, is owned by attorney Darlene Cypser of Littleton, entrepreneur/actor/humorist/technology whiz Trygve Lode (www.trygve.com) of Douglas County, and director/stuntman/martial artist Mark Steven Grove of Lakewood. Asgard Entertainment boasts Colorado's best stunts and special effects team and is owned by Mark Steven Grove and The Midgard Corporation (owned by Trygve Lode).
